No, Crash Cloud is one of Windpact’s “ingredient technologies”.  Windpact licenses our patented padding solution to existing helmet brands (such as EvoShield, Forma, etc.).  Our Crash Cloud technology is similar to other products such as Gore-Tex, expect our focus is impact protection solutions as opposed to waterproof solutions.  In addition to licensing our patented technologies, Windpact also offers engineering and design services as well as consulting services in a variety of areas.  Go to EXPERTISE to learn more.

No, Windpact can solve impact solutions with our patented Crash Cloud technology anywhere the human body can be impacted by force.  In addition to helmets (e.g., sportsmilitary, construction), we have proven solutions for vehicle interiors (e.g., headliners, head rest) and body padding (e.g., elbow pads, hip pads).

Absolutely!  The Crash Cloud technology can enhance impact protection in ANY type of helmet.  We have proven the Crash Cloud to be an industry first high-performance padding solution for the U.S. military ACH (advanced combat helmet) while also improving comfort.  Our technology can also be tuned and optimized to meet the specifications for any team or individual sport helmets (e.g., football, 7v7, baseball, motorcycle, ski, hockey, equestrian, skateboarding, cricket, rugby, cycling, etc.).

No, Windpact is not a manufacturer.  However, we do have a network of approved factories/manufacturers that currently produce our Crash Cloud padding solutions both domestically and internationally.  We are happy to introduce potential new clients to our existing manufacturing partners.  In addition, we are open to new manufacturing supplier, product development and/or partner licensing agreements.
